As of March 1, 2018, approved participants from the agriculture pre-inspection pilot will fully transition into the Unified Cargo Processing pilot and cease processing trucks at the agriculture pre-inspection pilot facility in Mexico. The participating companies in the agriculture pre-inspection pilot may continue utilizing the Mexico SAT pre-inspection facility to transport their agriculture shipments to the United States. Mexico SAT will allow these shipments to use the facility from 6 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 2 pm on Saturdays and U.S. I Mexican Holidays. When the trucks transit through the pre-inspection facility in Mexico they will then enter the United States via the FAST I UCP lanes for processing. Read official PIN Notice continue reading
Our member Toyota Motor Manufacturing de Baja California (TMMBC) has begun using specialized port-processing services from Pasha Automotive Services at the National City Marine Terminal. Toyota Tacoma trucks arrive via auto hauler to National City Marine Terminal from TMMBC's. Following processing and accessorization, the Toyota Tacoma trucks will then be transported from National City via Pasha Hawaii's Jones Act roll-on/roll-off vessels to Toyota dealers in Hawaii, or via rail and auto hauler to dealer destinations across the Continental U.S. and Mexico. continue reading
